you guessed it. earrings!
i tried to explain to her why i wouldn't put them on right away.
she gentle explained back to me that i needn't worry about it being painful, as she had made her friend a pair the day before in kindergarten - out of two used nails she had found on the ground. and it worked just fine.
right.
maybe i ought to have called that girl's mother?

lise: den hårklippen høres ut som en potensiell bombe for forholdet mellom deg og den andre moren, ja! jeg så deg også på graderingen, men du satt oppe på tribunen - og jeg så ungene dine gradere, morsomt at det var bare de to som var søsken som gjorde deler av graderingen!
amanda: haha, no! i changed the subject, hid them, hoping she'd forget about them, but on two occasions she's found them and been partly hurt and partly angry. i'v managed to change the subject both times, though. i guess i ought to have thrown them out, but i just can't make myself do that..
