I just love all your posts about your Viking Summer! I wish we had something as wonderful as that here in the states. I loved your embroidery on the dishtowels too. Where did you find the designs?

Jeg hadde garantert vært der, der sammen med dere vikinger.
Pleier å være på "våre" Middelalderdager, men i år sto det barnedåp på programmet.
Men jeg senser stemningen og duftene fra markedene gjennom bildene. Duften av hyllebærsaft også. Hadde garantert smakt på den!
Hun er flott denne Mimmi-dama (les: Gunnhild). Gjenskaper slike verdifulle minner!

dandelionlady: the designs are from bronze age rock carvings, showing ships and sun symbols. don't you have things like renaissance fairs that might be something similar to this, in the states?
