the blue hour...

...occurs twice a day

this is the morning blue

we only have proper daylight between 10 am and 3 pm

and

still

no

snow

only this thin layer on the mountain tops

helping earth from home

baking soda and vinegar for cleaning
cloth menstrual pads
cloth wipes instead of toilet paper
composting
eating organic
five minutes showers
left over dinner for kid's school lunches
line dry laundry
lower temperature in house at night
lower temperature in rooms when not in use
meal planning
mend or repurpose worn clothes
organic washing detergents
recycle
reuse alu foil for packaging
reuse paper for notebooks
thrifting
turn off and open my dishwasher as it goes into drying mode
turn off lights
use clothes until worn beyond repair
wash and reuse zip lock bags
wash laundry on lower temperature, shorter programs
wear clothes until dirty
